So, you’ve been asked to design and paint backdrops for a school play? You have painting skills, but this kind of painting is one big mammoth to swallow. Don’t let it intimidate you. Once you know a few basic rules and helps, you will be able to cut it into bite size pieces and have a lot of fun in the process.

 

Since 2002, I’ve been involved with my kids’ school musicals and dramas. I learned many helps in those years that can help beginners tackle the challenges of backdrop painting. I will pass along the knowledge I have gained for a reasonable one time consultation fee of $25 for your project. I will be happy to answer any questions you have as you go along at no extra charge.

 

This fee is offered with homeschool and public school students and parents in mind. I reserve the right to negotiate my charges per ability to pay and degree of my involvement (i.e. on site project assessment and instruction and mileage).
